Dear Visitor,
I'm Néstor Romeral Andrés. Welcome to my independent board game publishing project.
nestorgames is located in Zaragoza (SPAIN - EUROPEAN UNION) and ran by me, although I've got many friends helping me.
nestorgames is an experiment with three main goals:
Goal 1: To publish almost any game.
Most publishing companies reject tons of game submissions because they "don't fit in their product line". Unfortunatelly they are right. Producing a new game is very expensive and risky. This actually leaves thousands of games in the author's shelves. Games that nobody will ever play.
I would like you to play those games. So I've created a method that allows me to manufacture games one by one or in small runs with an "almost" null initial investment (however, it doesn't mean it is a cheap method). This way I can publish any game that fits in this format. New formats will be coming soon. Shortly I will post the submission guidelines in the submissions section. Authors please wait.
I've already published some of my designs, as you can see on the left. I'm sure you'll like them!
Goal 2: To make the games portable: "Fun to take away"
Thanks to this innovative manufacturing method, the games I produce can be carried away and stored easily, as they can be bended and squeezed! Moreover, they occupy very little room and they are very light (around 150 grams per game, or 0.33 lb). Hard to believe? Take a look here.
Goal 3: To keep the project "alive".
In order to keep the company alive in a "credit crunch era", I must start the project with almost no investment at all, so I wont need any credit and therefore I wont have any debt. With my method, manufacturing a game always costs the same, no matter if I make one or one thousand games. I personally print, assemble and ship every single game I sell.
This also implies that nestorgames' games are only sold on this website. You can't find them anywhere else. The margins are just too narrow to get into the distribution system. Sorry for the inconvenience (I know some of you work in a game store). Fortunately the shipping costs are low, due to the low weight of the games.
Thank you very much for your interest in my project. I hope you find the games you're looking for. More games will be frequently added so please keep visiting nestorgames!

ADAPTOID is a board game for two players aged from 10 and up. Each game lasts around 20 minutes.
An ADAPTOID is a creature that constantly evolves to adapt itself to its surroundings. To survive it needs to be fed. In ADAPTOID, two players must confront their armies of adaptoids with the aim of eliminating the opponent.
HEXELLATION is a board game for two players aged from 10 and up. Each game lasts around 20 minutes.
In HEXELLATION, the players try to create a previously fixed star constellation named ‘MODEL’ without creating a different one named ‘AVOID’. The first one to achieve this wins the game. No ties are possible.
HIPPOS AND CROCODILES is a board game for 2 players aged 6 and up. It takes about 10 minutes to play.
The aim of the game is to fill up the river with hippos and crocodiles. If a player can’t place a piece on the board, he will lose.
LIMIT is a tile-placement game of movement and capture for two or three players designed by Cameron Browne .
The last player with pawns in play in a constantly shrinking board wins.
ORDO is an abstract board game for 2 players designed by Dieter Stein.
The aim of the game is to reach the opponent's home row while keeping your pieces always connected.
ABANDE is an abstract board game for 2 players designed by Dieter Stein.
Two players in turn enter new pieces on the board or move pieces already placed to capture opponent pieces and end up with the highest score. With this set you can play Attangle too, also invented by Dieter Stein.
You can also get 2 new extra boards here!
HEX (Piet Hein-1942, John Nash-1947) could be the perfect abstract board game. It has the simplest rules of almost any known game, yet is remarkably difficult to play well.
nestorgames portable 11x11 HEX set contains 120 pieces in two colours (red and blue).
Dr. REINER KNIZIA's classic "MOLE HILL" in a portable format.
MOLE HILL, a devious battle between gardener and mole. In this garden, there can only be room for one!
(it includes a new variant!)
Yavalath is an abstract game for 2 or 3 players that was designed by a program called LUDI (invented by Cameron Browne) in 2007.
The goal of the game is to place four stones in a row without first making three in a row.
With this set you can play Pentalath (also invented by LUDI), Susan, invented by Stephen Linhart, and Taacoca, by Vikingur Fjalar Eiríksson.
TRITT is a two-player abstract board game, designed by Néstor Romeral Andrés in 2009.
TRITT uses a special piece called Tritton, consisting in 3 aligned dots coloured blue-orange-blue or orange-blue-orange. The goal of TRITT is to place three dots of your colour in a row without making three dots of the opponent’s colour in a row at the same time.
