International Checkers is a widely played game of the Checkers Family.
It is played on a 10 by 10 checkerboard and it features backward capturing men and "flying" kings which move like bishops in Chess.
It is the national checkers game in the Netherlands, France and a few other countries, and is the one for which the FMJD (World Draughts Federation) organizes the world championship.
