Alerya, a strategy board game for 2 players designed by Fernando Lafuente Clavero and illustrated by Xavi Carrascosa.

Somewhere in Essentia, a singular region called Alerya is located. Aside from possessing four more terrains different from the already known (lake, tundra, jungle and desert), it has a peculiarity: the essentia magic has gotten weaker there, so the supplied powers are limited. However, it is the place chosen by the two Orders to keep safe their ancient relics. Dawn and Twilight are up to another battle. A brave wizard and a ruthless sorcerer will try to guide wisely their golems to take the relics from their enemy. Alerya is an Essentia derivative by the same designer, that uses a different board, new terrain tiles and magic relics. A player wins when she manages to steal the two relics of her enemy, or possess more enemy relics than the other player when all the golems of an Order (hers or her opponent’s) have been eliminated. If there is a draw, the player with remaining golems on the board wins the game.

Components: Cotton case, board (pad), 12 'ice' golems, 12black golems, 2 'ice' relics, 2 black relics, 26 terrain tiles (cardboard). The golems and relics are made of 8mm thick laser-cut acrylic.

Alerya is the brother game of Essentia. Although the Alerya set is a game on its own, if you already own Essentia you can 'upgrade' it to Alerya by purchasing the board, relics and the 26 tiles only (everything fits in the Essentia case) for 14 Eur. If you don't have a copy of Essentia, you can purchase the Essentia+Alerya pack for 39 Eur. This pack includes a cotton case, 2 boards, 38 tiles, 16 'ice' golems, 16 black golems, 2 'ice' relics and 2 black relics. In any of both cases please contact me here.
