Amoeba was invented by Masahiro Nakajima, the Curator of The Museum of Abstract Strategy Games, in 2010. It is an all-out strategy game following his other original games: FlipFlop (English)RinneTensei (English), and The Ring World (English). The online version of Amoeba is available on Amoeba Online. In Amoeba, players stack discs in order to capture the opponent's 'kernel'.

Components: game board, cotton case, 10 black discs, 10 'ice' discs, 1 black 'kernel', 1 ice 'kernel. The discs are made of 8mm thick and 23mm diameter laser-cut acrylic.
