A game of WW1 aerial combat by Stephen Tavener.

straddles the line between abstract strategy game and wargame. It captures the essence of a WW1 aerial dogfight in a game with no random elements or hidden elements; so hang up your assumptions at the door, and go along for the ride. Combat is simple – if a plane is within line of sight of two enemy planes, it is shot down. You lose if you are reduced to one plane, and can therefore no longer shoot the enemy.

base game includes components for a 2-player game. If you wish to add more players you'll need the expansion (one per additional player).


Base game (2 players): Board (2 pads), 16 foam clouds, 6 indented red dice, 6 indented green dice, stickers for the dice, a carrying case.

Expansion (per extra player): 5 indented dice (orange or yellow) and stickers. Please indicate colour if you purchase one set only. You can see the dice in the pictures below.
