FlipFlop is an abstract strategy game for 2 players, invented in 2009 by Masahiro Nakajima, the Curator of The Museum of Abstract Strategy Games. The designer’s goal was to create a game of mathematical beauty, strategic depth, yet of sufficient simplicity that anyone in the world, of any age and any cultural background, can enjoy. One of the most distinctive characteristics of the FlipFlop family of games is that the pieces move differently every turn. Therefore, even with small board sizes, and with a limited number of pieces, the games are not that “easy.” Welcome to “A Small yet Beautifully Complex World”! With this Nestorgames version of FlipFlop you can play 2 different games: FlipFlop (33 and 55) and FlipFour (also included in the rulebook).

Components: Board, 5 'ice' pieces, 5 black pieces, a cotton case. The pieces are made of 8mm thick laser-cut acrylic ('ice' and black), engraved and painted on both sides.

This game has been nestorboostered.
